Zolar X, The Blank Club, June 18 2005

With a member in jail (lead singer Zory Zenith), only remnants of their wardrobe (only one pair of antennae to share among the three of them, and a marked dearth of silver glitter), and 26 years after their last gig, a three piece Zolar X bravely drew in their spock brows, donned their platinum blond wigs, and took the stage at The Blank Club with equal parts spandex and wrinkles. I went not expecting much...but I was so wrong.
